Sorry we've been very busy!

Over the last couple weeks Matt and I have done a lot of house hunting and my dad came out for about 4 days and looked for us and we didn't have much luck. However, Matt had received a new listing the day we were suppose to leave to drive to Derby for a couple of wedding showers. We decided we better stop by the house and check it out because it seemed pretty decent from the description. We went to the house and found out that the floors were being refinished and their weren't going to be any showings scheduled until Monday morning (it was Friday) so we were bummed. We waited a few more minutes to leave and the floor guys showed up to work. We asked if we could take a peak and got into the house. After a whirlwind look at the house, we talked to our realtor, my parents, and talked about it the whole drive to Derby. We decided we wanted to make an offer on it and we did the following day. The seller's countered our offer, but still within what we were going to accept so we went "under contract." It all happened so fast so we were definitely ready to get back and give the house a more thorough look. After the inspection yesterday morning we are still in line to close on our new house on July 8th!! Through the midst of all the the house craziness, we had our first wedding showers. I had a "girl" shower Saturday morning while in Derby and we had a "couples" shower that evening at Matt's parents house, hosted by his wonderful sister Amy and brother-in-law Craig. We had a great time and got to see a lot of people.
The beautiful cake that AnnElise made for my shower, her and her mom Jamie also hosted the shower! They did an amazing job!

Matt's Aunt Judy, Matt's Aunt Lynne, his mother Marilyn, Cousin Kelli, and Sister Amy...what a great picture!!

Kiddos

So this week was the first week that I had all 3 kiddos the whole day. I struggle to get pictures of Everett and Sam because they hide when they see a camera :) So, they all had dentist appointments this week and I took advantage of it and attempted to get a good picture for their dad for Father's Day. After 5 or 6 tries of the boys being silly I think I finally got a great one!

This is Everett..9 years old and going into 4th grade!
This is Sam..he is 7 years old and going into 2nd grade..and very awnry!
I think this one is the winner
They LOVE being silly!
Matt and I have continued to house hunt through this week. We didn't have much luck this week so we are going to continue to look. Matt's schedule has been very busy so it's hard to do much. We are really excited to go to Derby this next weekend for our first wedding shower and to see all of our family and friends.

Crazy Sunday

Today Matt and I finally got our engagement pictures taken. They had previously been cancelled due to rain. Today we were about 10 minutes away from the location we were going to take them and it started to rain. When we got there it continued to sprinkle on us but we went ahead and took the pictures and can't wait to see how they turn out, the park was great and great view of the mountains. We even brought Morgan with us and got a few pictures with her. After our pictures we went down to Pearl Street Mall in Boulder for lunch. We hadn't ever walked around down there and it was really cool. On our way home I spotted 2 different funnel clouds and then about 5 minutes down the road it started hailing on us. We finally made it back and saw a movie at the theatre and by the time we got out of the movie it looked like a different day outside. We were able to go on an hour long walk and it was just beautiful outside.

Here are a few photos from me and Georgia's first day at the pool. She sure does love the water!

I got Georgia ready for her Father Daughter dance she had that night. She looked so cute :)

First Pool Day

Woke up early today to get things ready for the pool with Georgia. It looks very cloudy and I'm hoping that it clears off so we can at least head to the pool for an hour. This is one of the last days with just me and Georgia during the day and then on Wednesday of next week her two brothers Everett and Sam will join us because they are out of school.
Here are a few pictures of Georgia enjoying life. We were driving and I turned around and she had smeared lipstick all over her face. Pretty cute and her shirt says it all.."Life is Good"
Enjoy!

Summer Craziness

Hi everyone..welcome to our new blog.
Wow! Can't believe it's already June. Our crazy schedule for the next several months leading up to the wedding has started. We thought this would be a great way for everyone to keep up with us and see what is going on in our life. Today we found out that the house we are living in now has a contract on it and will close on July 14th. Our original lease isn't up until July 11th, but with our uncertainty on the house we have an offer on makes things a little big more stressful until we find out if they will accept our offer. We had a great time this past weekend visiting with Matt's family. We drove back to Derby from Denver with Matt's parents, got to see Amy, Craig, and the kids, go to Matt's cousin Tom's wedding, and even got to see Chris and Annie before heading to the airport. We were one day short of getting to meet the new arrival of Harrison James Leiszler, we are so excited for Chris and Annie!
We plan to have our engagement pictures this Sunday, and hopefully they will not be cancelled again due to rain. As soon as we get some of the proofs we will post them on the blog!
Hope everyone has a great evening!
